Rates
I offer an initial complimentary 15 minute phone consultation to answer any questions and to briefly explore why you are seeking therapy at this time. This helps both of us understand if we are a good fit for one another.
Initial Session
I request a two hour appointment for the initial couple session. Insurance can pay for the first hour and the second hour would be at my priave rate of $150.00. As first time couples in therapy, a two hour appointment will be your introduction into the process. In my experience, an hour is not enough time to gain sufficient insight into what may be years of conflict. The two hour appointment allows us to take our time understanding the process while developing realistic therapy goals. Invest in therapy with someone with years of experience and expertise who understands and empathizes with your pain.
Benefits of Priavate Pay
One of the many benefits of being a private pay practice is that we are not bound by strict insurance guidelines, including assigning a formal mental health dianosis. My goal is to provide quality care that best serves my clients. I have built a “referral based” practice. This means the people I have helped or colleagues I’ve worked with consistently recommend me to others. My practice relies on word-of-mouth and positive outcomes. My practice will always be a people-based practice.
Insurance Benefits
All insurance companies are different and I advise clients check with their individual providers to fully understand the mental health benefits. It might be helpful to also ask how many sessions do they cover or what is the deductible. I accept several forms of insurance:

I accept cash, check, health service accounts/flex spending accounts, and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
A 48-hour notice is required for a cancellation. This courtesy allows others to have access to earlier appointments as they become available. You will be charged the full fee of the scheduled session without proper cancellation.
